Well it was bound to happen, as Tom Brady threatens lawsuit, reportedly over an AI version of himself. It seems like overnight, the emergence of artificial intelligence news has scoured the internet, with “it’s scary” or “it’s great!’

Tom Brady could be taking two comedians to court. Legal representatives for theΒ NFLΒ legend haveΒ sent a cease-and-desist letter to Will Sasso and Chad KultgenΒ , threatening to sue them if they didn’t take down an AI-generated comedy special impersonating Brady. A Simulated Hour-Long Comedy Special and shows an AI version of Brady telling jokes.
So basically, they created a standup comedian version, of Tom. His lawyers pounced and demanded a cease and desist.
Do We Use AI In Our Daily Life?
Every time we’re on hold with a utility company, insurance company or bank, the voice you are hearing is most likely an AI generated voice, simulated to sound like a real, recorded person. Add to that, if you have Amazon Alexa, that maybe a great example of AI. I read that actress Nina Rolle is the human voice behind Alexa. Does Amazon use AI and Nina’s voice to create the tens of thousands of words Alexa uses daily?
We can’t predict the future. But we can predict that AI will become a bigger part of our daily life, used in a utility fashion, providing human like assistance for everyday needs. Or maybe in the not too distant future, your dealer at the blackjack table, may not be who he appears to be!
