Jake Bongiovi Film Debut Reveals Uncanny Image Of Dad, Jon
The Jon Bongiovi family is not only busy making wine. They are creating new rock stars in the image of Dad. The Jake Bongiovi film debut shows that Jon Bon Jovi’s son is a spitting image of Dad. Just as we are catching up with Damsel, starring Jake’s fiance Millie Bobby Brown, we now are reporting there’s a new actor-rocker in the family. Push over Young Guns II (Jon was in that.) Jake Bongiovi Film Debut
According to TheNews.com, Jake’s new movie is called Rockbottom:
The 21-year-old stars alongside Tom Everett Scott McKaley Miller, Tesla Dunn in the movie, which follows former ’80s band member, who reunites his old CougarSnake crew for a performance.
Bongiovi plays the pizza boy with impressive singing skills who is recruited to play the new frontman for their band. In the trailer for the movie, not only was Bongiovi a spitting image of his dad, his singing chops were proof that the apple didn’t fall far off from the tree.
The film became available on March 28 and the trailer can be seen on YouTube. But this news sources does not confirm that it actually Jake who is singing: Bongiovi’s character sings in the movie, but it’s not known if the voice heard is actually his. A request for clarification to movie reps was not replied to before press time.
Jon And Son, Wine
While Jake is following Dad’s footsteps with a career in show biz, Dad is helping son Jessie with his own wine business. Launched in 2018, DiningoutJersey.com says:
After graduation Jesse approached his dad, Jon Bon Jovi, about starting a rosé wine business that would be unique to a younger demographic. “I began doing more research talking to everybody from restaurant owners to liquor store owners to eventually importers and distributors and then wine makers and really crafted this concept of what Hampton water would become.” He wanted to create a wine that was fun and social foremost and also spoke to a younger demographic.
Jessie’s wine is called Hampton Water.
Jake Bongiovi Awards
The movie Rockbottom won a few awards at the Hollywood Reel Independant Film Festival including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor, going to Jake.
