Princess Kate Picture ‘Kill Order’ Amplifies Her Absence
A Princess Kate picture “kill order” has the British tabloids and every news outlet frothing at the mouth over a recent picture posted on the royals Instagram page.
We have all done it. Using our smartphone or Photoshop, we have manipulated, altered or filtered a photo to make it work. Well if you’re a British Royal, you had better tap the breaks before you think about editing your photo. Four major news agencies pulled the photo after questioning its’ authenticity, claiming it was altered.
According to CNN:
An initial CNN review of the image identified at least two areas that appear to show some evidence of potential manipulation, including Princess Charlotte’s sleeve cuff, and a zipper on the lefthand side on the jacket of the Princess of Wales. Why is that such a big deal? Who cares?
Well let’s start with the photo in question. The now famous mothers day photo featuring Kate with her children was reportedly an attempt to show normalcy after the suspicious public absense of Kate after abdominal surgery in January. Reports show her basically invisible since January, speculating that her recovery may be in question. Recently, one rather ominous paparrazi photo emerged of Kate driving with her mom behind the wheel. It certainly wasn’t your typical approved palace photo.
Of course, the British media jumped on that, and now, today, as the palace attempts damage control, this new photo fired up even more royal drama.

Breaking today, the Princess Kate picture “kill order” resulted in an apology, from Kate.
According to AP News:
In a post on social media, Kate said that “like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused,” the post said.”
Kate’s statement did not suggest the photo was fake. But several news outlets independent investigations reports that the photo was altered. But why? We may never know. If you look close, Kate is not wearing her ring in the photo.
We all hope Kate is ok and recovering well from her surgery.
