Is Seinfeld coming back? Trust me when I say I'm an EXPERT on shows about nothing.
I always get nervous when I see stories like this because TV reboots and reunions in many cases flop. It probably isn't the fault of the writers or actors totally. The fault may lie with us viewers who just won't let go of the past. We have a memory of the original show, writing and acting that the current version won't live up to. The only reboot that I give my 100% thumbs up was the Top Gun Maverick, movie. That one they didn't wreck. It had the perfect amount of old and new. But can Jerry Seinfeld pull it off? Wait, maybe they already did.
Did Curb Your Enthusiasm Do A Reunion?
If you're a super fan of Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer, then you could be a core fan of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. Of course it stars Seinfeld co-creator Larry David who plays a half real-half-fictionalized version of himself. Of course, core fans know that the George Costanza character, played by Jason Alexander is loosely based on Larry David's real life. Seinfeld fans like me delight in seeing episodes of Curb that reference Seinfeld. For instance, Curb's Car Periscope Episode was first introduced years before in Seinfeld by Kramer. Larry, or Kramer felt that cars should feature a camera on a periscope-type antenna, that could see ahead over traffic. With our current, reverse camera in our cars, Larry was ahead of his time, except, like Kramer, a little backward.
Seinfeld Coming Back? It Did
Season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, starred the Seinfeld cast as themselves. Many of the episodes sprinkled in moments of Larry discussing with Jerry the possibility of a reunion with an on-off narrative. But Larry has his aha moment, realizing that he could win his wife, Cheryl back after their split, by doing the reunion, showing her his comic genius. In one of the final episodes, Curb creates a show within a show, recreating a Seinfeld reunion brilliantly, from a behind the scenes point of view.
Add to that the show went over and above for Seinfeld fans. They recreated TWO of the original sets, including the famous New York diner and Jerry's apartment. Plus, they did behind the scenes table reads with all of the original cast. We even got a visit from Newman, recreated by the original actor Wayne Knight! If you're a true Seinfeld fan, it's truly must see TV. (I had to go there.)
Is Seinfeld Coming Back, Now?
But wait, there's more!
We all know that the Seinfeld finale was not the best ending to the best sitcom ever. They even address it in Curb's Season 7. But according to a recent visit by Jerry himself in Boston, that may get a second chance to fix the finale?
According to TV Insider:
The surprising news came during Seinfeld’s recent stand-up set at the Wang Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts, on Saturday, October 7, where he told the audience he had a “little secret” regarding the sitcom’s divisive finale.
Seinfeld must have been in a giving mood because he decided to tease a little more, revealing, “Here’s what I’ll tell you, okay, but you can’t tell anybody. Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. Hasn’t happened yet.”
This show about nothing, just became something.

"Frasier" is this fantastic TV sitcom you've got to check out if you haven't seen it. It's all about Dr. Frasier Crane, a psychiatrist with a fancy taste, and his quirky adventures in Seattle.
The show's main character, Frasier, moves from Boston to Seattle, and that's when the comedy starts. He's a radio host, and his life is like a rollercoaster of humor and chaos.
But the real fun?
It's in the characters. Frasier's brother Niles is his sidekick in this laughter-filled journey. They're both high-society types, and the way they interact is a hoot. You'll be in stitches listening to their conversations.
Then there's their down-to-earth dad, Martin. He's a lovable grump, and his dog Eddie is a scene-stealer.
Roz, the producer at Frasier's radio station, adds some sassy and witty humor to the mix. She and Frasier have a hilarious working relationship.
The show is relatable because it takes everyday situations and turns them into comedy gold. Think awkward family moments, dating disasters, and oddball friends – it's all there.
The iconic setting includes Frasier's posh apartment and Café Nervosa, their favorite hangout spot.
Overall?
"Frasier" is a mix of clever humor, heartwarming moments, and an ensemble cast that's pure gold. So, if you want a show that'll make you laugh, think, and feel like you're part of the gang, "Frasier" is the one to binge-watch.
The reboot follows Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!
