With the sad news of Neil Diamond retiring from touring due to health reasons, of course images of Neil singing Sweet Caroline at Fenway came to mind. I mentioned it on the air and got a BIG response. People were asking: “Do you think he will at least make an appearance some day to sing it again LIVE at Fenway?
Upon hearing this on the air, a friend sent me this story on how the legend of Sweet Caroline, began at Fenway.
