Why Air Frying Your Steak Is An Awesome Idea!
So, I told Bob that I air fried a strip steak for dinner last night and, you know, Bob, being a steak SNOB and all, scoffed at my idea.
FOOL, I told him!
Air frying a steak is a fabulous idea for three reasons:
1. It’s fast
2. It’s easy
3. Clean up is a cinch.
Bob wouldn’t budge until I showed him a photo of the final product. I won him over.
It takes 10 minutes and you’re all set. I also air fried the potatoes (15 minutes) and steamed the broccoli. I was a 50s housewife and I didn’t even have to wear an apron!
Here are the directions I followed:
Ingredients:
New York Strip Steaks
Olive Oil
Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
OK, so get your steaks to room temperature, leaving them out about 15 to 20 minutes. Then pat the steak dry. Rub a little olive oil over the steaks, and season with salt, black pepper, and steak seasoning.
Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degree.
Then just put in your steak, cook for 5 minutes, flip, then cook 5 more minutes.
Boom, done, DELISH!
