London: Britain has always struggled with how to immortalise the People's Princess - often with spectacularly bad consequences. Eight years to the day since Diana and her lover Dodi Al-Fayed died in Paris, billionaire Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed unveiled a garish statue of the couple dancing on water beneath the wings of an albatross.
