It's National Pancake Day and Bostonians love a great stack to celebrate it. Here are the best pancake restaurants in Boston. We celebrate it every Fat Tuesday. Let's be honest, who doesn't enjoy a pancake every once in a while? For most of they are an occasional weekend treat when cold cereal or a slice of toast won't do the trick. They are a fun to eat on a  cold day in February and that's why we celebrate them today.

We're lucky to have so many restaurants that feature amazing pancakes here in the Boston area. Plus, we have all that great maple syrup from our fellow New England states like, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire and even some produced right here in Massachusetts.

No doubt that we love to smother our pancakes with the ooey gooey goodness of maple syrup. What's a flapjack without it?

Today, February 21 is Fat Tuesday and the traditional day to celebrate pancakes. We don't don't think you'll be making the trip to New Orleans, so instead we kept it local and found the top 11 pancake offerings at these Boston area restaurants.
