If you’re heading to New Hampshire this weekend to do some late season Leaf Peeping, you might want to head up early and check out one of the these Top 4 Viewer’s Choice Pancake Houses in NH. WMUR TV in Manchester recently released the short list of restaurants that pride themselves in serving up the short stacks.

They got the list down to just the best four and this is list is all you need to satisfy your cravings.

• 4. Parker's Maple Barn in Mason

  One viewer says Parker’s Maple Barn makes the best buttermilk pancakes she’s ever had, though they also make seasonal flavors, like these strawberry pancakes. I have been there a few times and have to say this the pancakes are so good!

• 3. Flapjack's Pancake House in Lincoln

  Flapjack’s Pancake House features weekend specials that can include cinnamon bun, M&M and pumpkin flapjacks, to name a few. Those cinnamon bun pancakes sound beyond awesome.

All four of these Pancake House’s in New Hampshire are worth the trip from Boston. They all are cozy and warm and represent the good old fashioned homey breakfast places that are hard to find in these days of chain restaurants and fast food joints. Just be prepared to wait in line a bit, especially if you’re heading up on the weekend, but they are all going to be worth the wait!
