Here Are The Hottest Holiday Decorating Trends
If you're tired of the same old decorations for the Holidays and you want to change things up this year, here are the latest trends to keep you on point. There are some families that use the same décor year after year and are happy with it and make no plans to change a thing. Then there are those that like to have a different look or theme year to year. My co-worker is one of these people and last year during the Barbie craze pulled off a Barbie themed Pink Christmas, replete with all things pink, including trees, ornaments and wreaths. We think that is good for only one year. So in an effort to find out what are the latest trends in Holiday Decorations we looked for someone with expertise in the arena of trends and styles. We asked Monica Reese, Director of Trends and Styles for Lowe's on our show Tuesday, December 3rd about what are the decorating trends for Christmas 2024. What's hot for the holidays? Here are her answers: "When it comes to holiday decorating, more is definitely in this year. Whether it’s an oversized inflatable or a pair of giant nutcrackers, big and bold are the festive choices. But that doesn’t mean traditional décor is out of style. Pre-lit LED trees and garlands are still favorites and can easily transform your home. Bows are also a popular choice. They feel nostalgic yet surprisingly avant-garde." About Monica Reese: Monica Reese is the Director of Trend and Style at Lowe’s.
