Watch Walter The French Bulldog Sing “I’m Just Ken” Better Than Ryan Gosling
Now we know what Randy Jackson meant when he would say something like, “great job dog” to a contestant that sang well. That’s exactly what you will say when you see Walter the French Bulldog sing “I’m Just Ken” better than Ryan Gosling. Everyone said that Gosling stole the show at the most recent Oscars with his show stopping version of the song. He has totally embraced the role of Ken and brought the house down, of course the audience didn’t mind that he is one of the few men that look very comfortable in pink.
Who knew that a Frenchy could carry a tune so well? He can certainly sing better than me, although that is not saying much and I dare say better than most humans. We haven’t heard from Ryan Gosling yet on how he feels about Walter’s singing his signature tune.

To be fair to Mr. gosling, he has never claimed to be a singer. He took the role of Ken I’m sure, primarily based on his good looks at washboard stomach. His singing was better than expected, but then again, the expectations were set very low for him. After all, Ken is supposed to be an hour for wall all around dude who is more interested in serving and Barbie than anything else. Singing was not his for forte.
I have a Corgi that is a year and half old and can certainly make some interesting sounds, but singing is not one of them. She more or less whines around dinner time and will bark if she wants to be heard. Perhaps it’s just a hallmark of the French Bulldog breed. I did some research to see if they are known for the mellifluous voices.
Here’s what I found out.
According to a Google search …They’ll typically investigate new sights, sounds, and smells. While they can be quite vigilant, Frenchies are not known to be particularly vocal. They may let out some barks and whines to let you know someone’s at the door, but they don’t tend to bark excessively.
