Winter Arrives in Massachusetts This Week: Who’s Getting Snow, Who Isn’t
Well it was nice while it lasted. Just days after Boston tied a record Saturday when it hit 76 degrees, some parts of New England are ready to move on to winter. Snow is in the forecast. How much? Who’ll see white stuff and who’ll see cold rain?
Channel 7 draws the line pretty much outside 495 on their Facebook page today. The Boston area shouldn’t see any snow. They say it’ll all be the wet stuff. But out near Worcester, Springfield and New Hampshire (if you’re away from the coast), you could get a coating to maybe even an inch of snow Tuesday night in Wednesday.
Obviously the further north and west you go, you could see more. Greenfield could get up to 3 inches. Parts of Vermont could see 3 to 5 inches of snow.
For temperatures, Boston could dip into the 20s overnight this weekend. Daytime highs will only be in the 40s starting Thursday. [Source: Channel 7]
Boston in Blankets of Snow
Whether it arrives this week or not, we know it won’t be long. Love it or hate it.
