It took a week longer than they probably would have liked, but the Patriots picked up their first win of the season on Sunday, topping the New York Jets 25-6 at MetLife Stadium. The win is also the first in the NFL career of 2021 15th-overall pick Mac Jones.

While Jones’ first win makes for a notable headline, it was the defense that really stole the show – and the football. The Patriots picked off Jets’ rookie quarterback Zach Wilson four times, including two from J.C. Jackson. As much as they attacked the ball, they also got after Wilson himself, totaling four sacks.
