Dinner Made in an Airplane Bathroom? No Thank You
Dinner in An Airplane Bathroom?
No thank you.
But, thanks to TikTok, we have reached a new low.
Yup, there’s a guy on TikTok who makes videos where he cooks elaborate things in hotel bathrooms.
But he took it a step further.
He posted a video where he makes garlic shrimp inside the “lavatory” of a commercial airplane. He said he was lucky to get past security, because the components to build the heating element might look like a bomb.
Way to go, TSA.
He used 6-volt batteries wired to an immersion beverage heater, and it got hot enough that the raw shrimp only needed a few minutes. He added instant mash to the shrimp water in the sink for extra flavor, and topped it off with garlic butter.
What else will be think of?
Move over airplane bathroom shrimp, because the culinary world just got a whole lot weirder than dinner in an airplane bathroom?
How about these ideas?
Ever considered grilling cheese in a laundromat? Picture this: washing machines humming, clothes spinning, and the scent of melting cheddar filling the air. It’s a laundry day like no other, with a side of crispy goodness.
How about baking cookies in a car? Not just any car, mind you. Park it under the scorching sun, and voilà—your own personal mobile oven. Warning: may cause intense cookie cravings and a slightly overheated steering wheel.
For the truly bold, there’s always the option of whipping up a stir-fry in an elevator. Imagine your unsuspecting neighbors’ surprise as they step into an aromatic cloud of teriyaki bliss. Just make sure to hit the emergency stop button before things get too heated.
If you’re feeling extra adventurous, take a culinary voyage to the office supply closet. Yes, you read that right. A pasta carbonara surprise between the reams of paper and toner cartridges might just be the pick-me-up your workday needs.
Wild kitchen escapades may not be recommended by professionals, and some might even call them downright bonkers.
But hey, if TikTok can turn an airplane lavatory into a culinary hotspot, who are we to judge? Just be sure to check local laws before you embark on your next gastronomic adventure—it’s all fun and games until someone gets banned from the lav.
