Celtics announce NBA Finals watch party at TD Garden for road games
Boston Celtics fans will be able to watch their team in the NBA Finals at TD Garden – even when they’re on the road.
The Boston Celtics are back in the NBA Finals, and Celtics fans will be able to watch them play for the title at TD Garden. Not just for Games 1, 2, 5, and 7 when they’re at home, but (at least) the initial road games in Dallas as well.
On Tuesday morning, the Celtics and TD Garden announced the building will hold watch parties for Games 3 and 4 at TD Garden when the Celtics are in Dallas taking on the Mavericks.
According to the announcement, the team will show the game on the big video board in the middle of the arena, with fans in the stands. Concession stands will be open in the concourses and There will be live entertainment and concourse activations in the arena throughout the game.
Tickets for both Games 3 and 4 will go on sale Thursday morning at 10 a.m. ET. Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster here. Seating will be available in the upper and lower bowls of TD Garden. Both tickets and parking for the event will be priced at $18 – to celebrate the Celtics’ pursuit of their 18th championship.
There was no information given on a potential Game 6 in Dallas if the series were to get that far.
Before hosting these watch parties, TD Garden will host Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals Thursday and Sunday. Coverage of Thursday’s Game 1 begins on 98.5 The Sports Hub and the BetMGM Celtics Radio Network starting at 7:30 p.m. ET, leading up to a scheduled 8:30 tip-off. Sunday’s pregame and tip-off are both half an hour earlier.
