Makin’ Bacon
According to some new study, three quarters of us has packed on a few quarantine pounds.
So naturally I’m here to help!
Have you been making new recipes lately that you’ve come across on the internet? Because I have!
Like this one:
Brown Sugar Maple Bacon (courtesy of ‘Fresh Eggs Daily‘….I really want some chickens)
10 – 12 slices of thick sliced bacon, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, approx 3 tablespoons of (real) maple syrup, freshly cracked pepper.
Preheat oven to 350 F, line a baking sheet with foil, set a wire cooling rack on top (I actually went out and bought a wire cooling rack for this recipe), lay out the bacon strips, stir or whisk the brown sugar and syrup to spreadable consistency, generously brush on bacon, top with ground pepper, pop in the oven for 30 – 40 minutes.
Words cannot describe how delicious this bacon tasted!
I even took pictures!
