Krispy Kreme is serving up a sweet deal that's hard to resist! They've just rolled out a new line of doughnut dots—think donut holes or munchkins—and to celebrate, they're offering a bargain you won't want to miss.

Starting Monday, June 10, you can grab a 10-count of these tasty dots for just $1 when you buy any dozen donuts. Talk about a deal.

Here's the problem though. There are ZERO Krispy Kreme stores in Massachusetts. Or New Hampshire. Or Maine, Vermont or Rhode Island. THIS IS A TRAVESTY.

Word is, they will head back to New England in 2026.

In the meantime, make the road trip to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. and bet on these tasty new flavors.

These doughnut dots come in four new flavors, joining the classic original glazed on the permanent menu. Here’s the lowdown:

  • Powdered: Classic powdered sugar goodness.
  • Cinnamon: Coated with a delightful cinnamon layer.
  • Sprinkled: Rainbow nonpareils for a colorful and crunchy treat.
  • Cookie Crumb: Topped with cookie crumbs for a rich, chocolaty kick.

Each flavor starts with an original glazed dot as the base, ensuring every bite is as delicious as the last. You can snag these in either a 10-count or 24-count cup, depending on how hungry you are.

But that’s not all that’s new in the world of Krispy Kreme.

MORE REASONS TO BE MAD KRISPY KREME IS NOT IN ALMOST ALL OF NEW ENGLAND:

Recently, Dolly Parton herself helped launch the Dolly Southern Sweets collection. This limited-edition line features four unique donuts, each inspired by classic Southern desserts. Here's a taste of what Dolly's got in store:

  • Dolly Dazzler: An original glazed donut with strawberry icing, glitter sprinkles, and a butterfly topper.
  • Peachy Keen Cobbler: An unglazed donut stuffed with peach filling, dipped in brown sugar icing, and topped with crunchy cobbler pieces.
  • Banana Pudding Pie: An unglazed donut filled with banana pudding, dipped in yellow icing.
  • Chocolate Crème Pie: A glazed donut topped with chocolate brownie cream, whipped vanilla topping, and chocolate cookie crumbles.

These sweet treats come in a colorful, matching box and are the perfect nod to Southern hospitality.

And don't forget, Jelly Roll has teamed up with Dunkin' to explain his nickname and launch some new 'Jelly' merch. It’s a sweet time for donut lovers everywhere, with new desserts popping up at fast food joints all over.

So, head to Krispy Kreme between June 10 and June 16, grab a dozen donuts, and enjoy your $1 doughnut dots. It's a celebration you won’t want to miss.

The Top Donut For The 6 New England States

It’s National Donut Day!

New England loves their donuts like no other region, after all, Dunkin Donuts was born in Quincy, Massachusetts back in 1950.

Founder William Rosenberg founded his first coffee and donut shop back in 1948 and it was originally called the Open Kettle, that name doesn’t sound as fun does it? I mean would America run on Kettles? Nope.

Two years later the name was changed because it is said that an architect came up with the name after he was enjoying dunking his donut into his coffee. Perfect!

70 years later there are over 12,500 Dunks worldwide

America runs on donuts!

There are lots of different donut specialty shops all over the country now. In Massachusetts we have all kinds of donut shops.

Taste of Mass  listed their Sweet 16 best coffee shops in the Bay State.

Here are their top 5

Mrs. Murphy’s Donuts Southwick
Donut Dip West Springfield
Rocco’s Doughnut Co. Millbury
Kanye’s Donuts Saugus/Boston

It’s kind of revealing that Dunks didn’t make the list, it shows you how the small mom and pops can really build up a great fan base by committing to their passion of focusing primarily on their donut craft.

Shane Co has put together a nationwide survey of every state’s favorite donut.
