Ouch!
"Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro has a bowling alley in their New Jersey home. So when the pinsetter malfunctioned, Buddy reached in to dislodge a pin.
This was not a good idea.
His right hand became lodged and compressed inside the unit.
It gets worse.
"Unable to remove his hand, he can see a [one-and-a-half-inch] metal rod slowly and repeatedly impale his hand three times between his ring finger and middle finger."
Buddy's sons had to cut through the metal rod with a reciprocating saw to set him free. Who has a reciprocating saw handy? I guess if you have an indoor bowling alley in your house, you should.
Buddy had two surgeries but his rep says he'll need, quote, "prolonged recovery and therapy."
