Ethiopa's Lawrence Cherono's furious kick down Boylston Street propelled him to victory, with Ethiopa's Lelisa Desiso finished right behind him. The finish was one of the greatest in Boston Marathon history!
Desisa is a two time Boston Marathon winner and is best remember for winning in 2013 and then giving his medal to the city of Boston after the marathon bombing as a simple of his support.
