Woman Crashes Scooter On First Day Of Brookline’s New Program
The fine folks of Brookline were introduced to new scooter rental program that was unveiled yesterday. It didn’t go as smoothly as planned!
On day number one of the rollout, one first time user had a minor accident. It wasn’t exactly the publicity the new scooter share program was looking for. The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance and received four stitches. As she was being tended to by emergency personnel, there was a press conference introducing the new program going on, with the fallen rider as the backdrop. Brookline is the first municipality in Massachusetts to begin using scooter rentals.
