OUR Carpool Karaoke Best 40 Songs!

LOS ANGELES – JANUARY 5: Elton John joins James Corden for Carpool Karaoke on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” airing Sunday, February 7th, 2016 (12:37 am to 1:37 am, ET/PT) on The CBS Television Network. (Photo by Darren Michaels//CBS via Getty Images)

It's Spring in Massachusetts Of course the rite-of-passage is to crank up the Carpool Karaoke Best 40 songs we can find, and pretend we can sing them as well as our favorite artists. There is no better way to pass the time then to belt our best Springsteen, Queen, or Jon Bon Jovi hit at the top of our lungs, with zero judgement from friends or family.

Carpool Karaoke Best 40 Songs!

One of the most famous examples of car-songs singing was made famous by James Cordon and his legendary Car Pool Karaoke segments.  His last CBS show is airing this week. He share's his one failure was to not secure Paul Simon as a car-pool guest But he did get a more famous Paul. Paul McCartney. If you haven't seen that, and you're a McCartney fan, it maybe one of the best Sir Paul moments you'll ever have, short of seeing him in concert.

What Decade Is Your Favorite?

Of course, the 80's and More is NUMBER ONE to us. But we have to plug in the 90's as well. My wife knows EVERY word of Ice Ice Baby, the 90's hit from Vanilla Ice. It's a spectacle to experience. Car songs singing in the movies can be hysterical. The Bohemian Rhapsody scene is Wayne's World was classic. Add the that, the car ride scene in Ben Stiller's Heartbreak Kid will crack you up. Did I mention Tommy Boy? I crack up just thinking about David Spade and Chris Farley singing The Carpenters hit Superstar, when their car hood comes flying off!

According to studyfinds.org: The poll of 2,000 motorists in the United Kingdom finds that 78 percent sing in the car, although only 21 percent of those who enjoy belting out tunes think they’re any good. Other four-wheel-friendly anthems include “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond, “Bat Out of Hell” by Meat Loaf, and “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac.

If you love music from the 1980s and 90s' then 1057 WROR could be your road trip destination. Once you leave the area, you can still get all of your favorites on the WROR app!

Now that we are ready, let's go find the carpool karaoke best 40 songs! (From Studyfinds.org.)
