One of childhood 's favorite memories is the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck coming down the street blaring that instantly familiar music that let's you know your summertime treat is on its way.

These days the ice cream man has dozens of choices for kids to make, everything from the classics to Sponge Bob Squarepants bars.  What to choose?

A recent survey set out to find Americans' favorite ice cream truck orders, and they used a fun method to do it...where they'd repeatedly show people two options and have them pick the best of the two.

Here are the resulting top 10 orders

10. Chocolate Drumstick

A delicious chocolate covered version of the classic Drumstick.

9. Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich

How is this one not ranked higher? It's a delight!

8. Neapolitan Ice Cream Sandwich

The ice cream trio that is still awesome, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry makes a great ice cream sandwich!

It's amazing that the plain vanilla cone still ranks high with the kids, or is it for mom and dad?
