After the relatively snow-free winter we’ve had, you just knew Mother Nature would try to make up for lost time as spring gets closer. While most of us in the Boston area just saw any white stuff melt, once you got outside 128 and especially 495, it piled up fast.
Channel 5 has compiled reports of snowfall from across Massachusetts. Logan Airport got a measly half inch of snow. Framingham registered just over 2 inches of accumulation. Worcester Airport got just over a foot.
So who got the most? You’d have to head out to Colrain, Massachusetts. I actually had to Google Maps that one. I’ve lived in Massachusetts most of my adult life and had never heard of it. It’s on the Vermont border. They apparently got 36 INCHES of the white stuff. So who’s going skiing this weekend? [Source: Channel 5]
