To say she’s lucky is the understatement of the year. This video is going viral worldwide today that shows a T rider just a step away from a terrible tragedy. This happened at the Harvard station this week. Surveillance video shows just how close of a call this was. They say the panel was probably wet and corroded and weighed about 20 to 25 pounds, according to a Channel 5 report.

I don’t know why I find these so compelling! It’s almost like watching that scene in Titanic where riders waived to the crowds at the dock. But it’s not every day the T expands its route.
