Geno

Weekdays 10am - 2pm

Former New England Patriots player Ty Law, David Ortiz #34 of the Boston Red Sox, former Boston Celtics player Bill Russell, and former Boston Bruins player Bobby Orr walk onto the field to throw a ceremonial first pitch prior to the home opener between the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park on April 11, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts.

This might be the coolest waste of time ever if you’re a Boston sports fan. My Twitter pal Jordan Moore from The Athletic picked various New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Celtics, and Red Sox players he thought were the best to ever wear their number.

For example, obviously #4 went to Bobby Orr. #12 is Tom Brady. #33 went to Larry Bird. He even added #00 for Robert Parish after this version of the graphic was finished.

Any issues with his picks? Hit me up on social media at @Geno1057WROR and I’ll add your comments. I’m not seeing any obvious errors so far. The toughest one had to be #34. How do you not pick Paul Pierce or David Ortiz? I’ve gotta go with Big Papi.
