10 Best Things at Modern Pastry… That Are Not Cannoli

With a name like Geno, you’d think I’d be a cannoli guy. Sorry… I’m not. I’ll get one from time to time on my North End visits. But let me ‘fess up. Authentic Italian desserts are not my favorite. I love Italian food in general. Pasta, chicken parmesan, a crusty bread dipped in oil and Balsamic vinegar… I love it. But when it comes to desserts, I usually load my box up with pretty basic stuff.
