Tom Brady has made the unthinkable official. The now-former Patriots quarterback announced on his Instagram page that he’s inking a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. You can see his post below.
Here’s what the caption reads:
Excited, humble and hungry …if there is one thing I have learned about football, it’s that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that…you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I’m starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do. I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me…I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I’m gonna not gonna (sic) say much more – I’m just gonna get to work! #Year1
The Bucs also announced the signing of Brady on Twitter:

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bucs gave Brady a two-year deal. The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport previously said they had offered him a deal for roughly $30 million per season.
Tampa also released a hype video, the kind that Patriots fans have been used to seeing for 20 years. It’s going to be tough for them to watch Brady do all the Brady things in another uniform, but this is the new reality.
