‘A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood’: See Official Trailer of Mister Rogers Film Starring Tom Hanks
The trailer for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, the film featuring Tom Hanks as Fred Rogers, has just been released, and it will surely have you thinking, “Is someone cutting onions in this room?” as you wipe a tear from your eye.
The film is based on the true story of the friendship between Rogers and journalist Tom Junod (Matthew Rhys) who is tasked with writing a profile about Rogers for Esquire.
With a tagline of, “It only takes one person to inspire a world of kindness,” it will surely be a film that will have you reaching for your tissues and could see Hanks reaching for his third Oscar.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood opens in November 2019.
