Fox is giving Kevin Hart his own animated comedy series.

According to Complex, Michael Price, the writer for The Simpsons, wrote a pilot for a series called, Lil Kev, a show about Kevin Hart’s childhood. Fox picked up the pilot.

The show will be about a twelve-year-old kid growing up in the crime filled city of Northern Philadelphia. The series will also boast characters that Hart has made jokes about such as his father, mother, brother, uncle, and a talking dog.

Fox’s president of entertainment, Michael Thorn, said that the series will be a priority due to the fact that Fox wants to add more animation programming to their network.

Kevin Hart has been quite busy lately with his newest movie, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, recently releasing & he just announced his new comedy tour, The Irresponsible Tour. So now is the best time for Kevin Hart fans for sure.
