According to Versa Networks:
In honor of the 44 million Game of Thrones fans, Versa Networks turned to data to find each state’s favorite GoT characters, and the most GOT-obsessed states in the country.
So, how do you accomplish such a task? The researchers collected 150 GOT-related search terms and put them into categories like houses, culture, characters, animals, books, and seasons. They plugged each search term into Google Trends to track search volume across all states, then tallied the overall volume from all 150 terms to get an ‘obsession score.’ States that scored the highest were deemed the most obsessed.
According to the study, __________ranked the #1 most Game of Thrones-obsessed state. They also found that the most popular female and male GOT characters in ______are Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow.
