Why We Dress Up
Studies have shown why we dress up for Halloween to become someone else.
While we all have our own individual reasons, there are professionals that can tell us why as well. A professor at the Psychology Department at Old Dominion University says:
“It’s the excitement of facing your fears in a controlled environment, like a haunted house. They raise adrenaline, they raise your endorphins,” Halloween also offers the chance to dress up as someone else and relieve some baggage you might be carrying around in your day-to-day life.”
