LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - APRIL 01: Julian Lennon attends MusiCares Person of the Year honoring Joni Mitchell at MGM Grand Marquee Ballroom on April 01, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Who wouldn’t be scared?

Julian Lennon was about to face maybe his biggest fear. Yes, to raise money for the people of Ukraine is a wonderful cause.

But as the son of the iconic Beatle, John Lennon, singing his father’s massive hit, Imagine is something the young Lennon dreaded all of his life. In a recent interview, he shared his fears. Do I make it my own? Use a piano, or guitar? What if I butcher it? What will people say? What kind of  honor would that be to Dad?

I can only imagine what he was feeling.

Well, once you see this video of Julian singing Imagine, for Stand Up For Ukraine, I would imagine, his Dad is very proud. A local nod to Boston’s own Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme on guitar.

After you watch, take a look at other performing kids, who’s parents are music stars.
