Let’s play ball! Is Fenway one of the top 15 most expensive ballparks to take in a Major League Baseball game?

Pay Ball! Well, that’s what you’ll be saying after going to an MLB game this season.

Especially if your home team is in a major market, i.e. New York, Los Angeles, or Boston. But just like with any professional sporting event, it’s not particularly cheap to do so.

Bookies.com calculated the cost of attending MLB Games at each ballpark this season and determined that a family of four will spend on average $149.03 (for four tickets, lot parking, two beers, two sodas and four hot dogs).

That’s just an average, they don’t include if you wanted to buy a jersey or say maybe a hat. If your really smart you’d pre-game before heading in and maybe save you a few extra dollars!

15. Toronto Blue Jays – Roger Centre

Oh Canada! It costs on average $146.75 to catch a game in Toronto.

14. Detroit Tigers – Comerica Park

The Motor City Tigers are not clawing at your wallet so bad with a cost of $147.50 for a family of 4.

13. Baltimore Orioles – Orioles Park at Camden Yards

If you like expensive birdwatching, Camden Yards is for you with an average of $148.68 for a family.

12. Oakland Athletics – Ring Central Coliseum

They may have one of the cheapest payrolls in the Majors but a game in Oakland is going to set you back on average $149.85 for four people.

11. New York Mets – Citi Field

The Amazins' are going to set you back an average of $154.50 for the gang over at Citi Field.

10. New York Yankees – Yankee Stadium

You would think with their payroll they would be higher, but surprisingly you can see the Bronx Bombers for an average of $160.60.

9. Cleveland Guardians – Progressive Field

You better Guard your wallet! The average cost is $161.45 to go to a baseball game in Cleveland.

8. Tampa Bay Rays – Tropicana Field

The Trop has to pay for all of that precious air conditioning so they will squeeze $171.90 out of you for a family of four.

7. St. Louis Cardinals – Busch Stadium

The price is not Busch league, it's going to cost you on average $172.39 to see a game in St. Louis.

6. San Francisco Giants – Oracle Park

It's going to cost you a Giant fee of $180.90 for a day at the park in San Francisco.

5. Washington Nationals – Nationals Park

Congress should act to lower the price of seeing the Nats at $185.30, after all, the ballpark is just down the road from Capitol Hill.

4. Houston Astros – Minute Maid Park

Known for cheating, they're going to cheat you out of $196.20 to see the 'Stros in Houston.

3. Chicago Cubs – Wrigley Field

You won't even be able to afford gum at Wrigley with an average cost of $196.20 to check out a Cubs game.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers – Dodgers Stadium

Hopefully you will enjoy a Dodger Dog or two with the price of $229.70, you almost have to be Hollywood royalty to afford that!

1. Boston Red Sox – Fenway Park

Your Bosox lead the way with an average gameday cost of $235.41 for an average family of four. With that much, they should change the name to the Green Sox!
