Get ready CHAMPIONS! Queen in Massachusetts is almost here!
Along with the amazing Adam Lambert, one of rock music’s most iconic bands Queen’s The Rhapsody Tour will be here Sunday and Monday, October 15 and 16 at the TD Garden!
This is our comprehensive guide for everything you need to enjoy the show! Before we get started, let’s take a look behind the scenes of Queen!
Adam Lambert
Imagine being born to be someone else. That is the case with the lead singer of Queen, Adam Lambert.
From the moment he walked on the American Idol stage in 2009, America collectively said, at once: whoa, he sounds exactly like Queen’s Freddie Mercury. Oddly Adam did NOT win that season! He came in second to Kris Allen. (who?) Ok, be nice. I think Adam ended up ok. He went on to make a #3 album with his own hit “What Do You Want From Me.” Shortly after, he got the attention of Brian May and the band, and the rest is history.
Some who saw the band with Adam, feel when they close their eyes, they think it’s actually Freddie Mercury. Adam as humble as they come, knows he has big shoes to fill. Have you seen his GIANT SHOES?
Did You Know That Brian May Is Astrophysicist?
Longtime Queen rocker Brian May may rock at night, but during the day he assists NASA on many research missions on Earth. He is as an actual astrophysicist. According to National Geographic, he actually helped NASA land on an asteroid.
Here’s a quote from Brian. I found the easiest one to understand, The rest of the article is astrophysicist stuff that I can’t comprehend:
Asteroids are like time capsules from the early solar system. We can learn a lot about what this place was like 4.5 billion years ago by studying primordial material from (asteroid) Bennu.
Maybe Queen should have had a song in the Bruce Willis movie Armageddon.
