Adam Lambert (L) performs with Brian May of Queen during Fire Fight Australia at ANZ Stadium on February 16, 2020 in Sydney, Australia. (

Get ready CHAMPIONS! Queen in Massachusetts is almost here!

Along with the amazing Adam Lambert, one of rock music’s most iconic bands Queen’s The Rhapsody Tour will be here Sunday and Monday, October 15 and 16 at the TD Garden!

This is our comprehensive guide for everything you need to enjoy the show! Before we get started, let’s take a look behind the scenes of Queen!

Adam Lambert

Imagine being born to be someone else. That is the case with the lead singer of Queen, Adam Lambert.

From the moment he walked on the American Idol stage in 2009, America collectively said, at once: whoa, he sounds exactly like Queen’s Freddie Mercury. Oddly Adam did NOT win that season! He came in second to Kris Allen. (who?) Ok, be nice. I think Adam ended up ok. He went on to make a #3 album with his own hit “What Do You Want From Me.” Shortly after, he got the attention of Brian May and the band, and the rest is history.

Some who saw the band with Adam, feel when they close their eyes, they think it’s actually Freddie Mercury. Adam as humble as they come, knows he has big shoes to fill. Have you seen his GIANT SHOES?

Did You Know That Brian May Is Astrophysicist?

Longtime Queen rocker Brian May may rock at night, but during the day he assists NASA on many research missions on Earth. He is as an actual astrophysicist. According to National Geographic, he actually helped NASA land on an asteroid.

Here’s a quote from Brian. I found the easiest one to understand, The rest of the article is astrophysicist stuff that I can’t comprehend:

Asteroids are like time capsules from the early solar system. We can learn a lot about what this place was like 4.5 billion years ago by studying primordial material from (asteroid) Bennu.

Maybe Queen should have had a song in the Bruce Willis movie Armageddon.

So now that we’re ready for Queen in Massachusetts, let’s get everything you need to know!

  • DOORS OPEN-Parking At The Garden

DOORS OPEN 7PM FOR BOTH SHOWS

I always like to start with PARKING, because THAT’S always the first question we ask when we see a show! While it’s pricy, the North Station Garage for me, is the best bet. If you get there early, there are a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance, weather permitting.

    Right off the Garden website:

With the most convenient parking for every game and show, the North Station Garage, located directly underneath TD Garden, offers a flat event rate* of $54 when you enter 2 and 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled event time. Elevators located in the parking garage will bring you directly to the main concourse in North Station.

The garage phone number for general information such as rates and height limits is 617-222-3042.

You can also reserve your parking:

This always works well, but charge your phone.

  • Bag Policy

image of TD Garden Bag Policy

THIS is important. We MISSED the first TWO songs at Paul McCartney at FENWAY, because my poor wife Heidi, had a purse that was TOO BIG for the metal detectors.

To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact, and ensure a swifter entry process, TD Garden strongly discourages guests from bringing bags to events.
If a bag is necessary, the following restrictions and processes apply:

Backpacks of any size are considered prohibited items and are not allowed into the arena.
Bags that measure larger than 14”x14”x6” are considered prohibited items and are not allowed into the arena.
Bags that measure between 14”x 14”x6” and 6”x4”x1.5” (including clear bags and ProShop powered by ‘47 bags) are subject to x-ray screening and visual inspection.
Bags that measure smaller than 6” x 4” x 1.5” may proceed through express screening lanes for visual inspection.
Diaper bags and bags needed for medical reasons are allowed but will be subject to x-ray screening. We kindly ask that you reach out to TD Garden Customer Service ([email protected]) 24 hours prior to your event if you want to arrange for additional accommodations before arrival.

Reminder: Patrons with prohibited items will not be permitted entry to the arena. TD Garden does not provide on-site storage. Guests are asked to plan accordingly and allow for extra time when arriving to TD Garden.

Exceptions to this bag policy may be made for extenuating circumstances such as medical needs and diaper bags. Please contact TD Garden’s Guest Experience team if you require additional information or guidance – [email protected] or 617-624-1331.
