According to The National Retail Federation, Americans will spend a new record amount of $12.2 billion this year. An estimated $700 million is expected to be spent on pet costumes! That’s right, The National Retail Federation says we spend nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars on cat and dog costumes.

According to The OnlineCasino.ca poll:
3,000 Americans were asked to identify their favorite Halloween costumes for themselves and their pets and broke that data down by state. Pollsters found that 47 percent of respondents who had pets said they intended to put them in Halloween costumes this year.
Almost HALF the pets in America wore a Halloween costume!
Is It SAFE To Put My Pet In A Costume?
According to Preventivevet.com, it is generally safe to dress them in a simple costume. BUT, they don’t recommend dying your fur babies fur for the optimum effect.
While it may be OK to do this with some cats or dogs (who have the right disposition) and with certain products — coloring your pet’s fur or making them wear a costume isn’t always the best idea. In many cases, it can cause your pet discomfort or distress.
