Just returned from our annual Memorial Day camping trip to Hermit Island Campground in Small Point, ME, about 12 miles southeast of Bath.
I've been going with my family since 1968 and, needless to say, I've had some of the best times of my life there. That's why I go back with my kids. My daughter Abbey is pregnant and I sure do hope she brings her son camping there, so he can be the fifth generation of Morses to enjoy the beauty!
This weekend, we camped in our tent, went to the beach, went swimming in the chilly Atlantic, saw some seals at nearby Popham Beach and sat by the campfire making S'mores!
