Looking to pull up roots and try to make it in an exciting new city? Head to Vienna, deemed the most livable city, or to Canada, where three cities are among the top picks on the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability Index. https://www.newser.com/story/336860/here-are-the-most-least-livable-cities-on-earth.html

Spanning the globe

The EIU based its rankings of more than 170 cities worldwide on 30 metrics in five main categories: stability, health care, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure. Fortune pulls out something of interest to Americans about the top 10:

No cities from the United States made the cut. For the second year in a row, the index deemed the Austrian capital its No. 1 choice. Meanwhile, pulling up the rear as the least livable city: Damascus, Syria.

Vienna is waiting for you

Even Billy Joel song about Vienna back in the 70s with this song Vienna is waiting for you. How was it that a 30 something Billy Joel was already in on the secret that the city is the most livable?

Perhaps Billy was taken with Vienna on a trip. Maybe it was the stunning classical architecture, or the Vienna boys choir that captured his heart. Or it could’ve been the Vienna cookies that we all love especially during the holidays.

With the aforementioned Vienna boys choir and the beautiful buildings restaurants rivers and so much more. Maybe Vienna is the most livable city in the world. We will have to go to find out for sure!
