First, there was Tom Brady and his avocado ice cream. Now….(cue the Popeye voice: “Shiver Me Timbers!”)……SPINACH ICE CREAM!!
In honor of the muscular sailor man’s 90th birthday, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream of New York and LA has introduced spinach ice cream. Some people say you can taste the coconut cream they make it with more than you can taste the spinach. This might be a better way to get your kids to eat the iron rich vegetable than just plopping the soggy, hot green stuff on a dinner plate.
