Brady, Edelman, Gronk And The Patriots “D” Get It Done, Win Super Bowl 53!
Tom Brady wasn’t great, but Julian Edelman was! Gronk was Gronk and the Patriots’ defense rose up for their finest effort of the year as the Pats won Super Bowl 53, 13-3, over the LA Rams at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta!
This is the sixth Super Bowl championship in the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era, tying Pittsburgh for the most in league history. Brady became the first player to win six titles.
Edelman was spectacular, hauling in 10 passes for 141 yards, and winning the game’s MVP award.
Gronk was clutch, too, with six catches for 87 yards. He hauled in a 29 pass from Brady to set up Sony Michel’s TD run from the two, the game’s only touchdown. Michel finished with 18 carries for 94 yards. Brady threw one interception and didn’t have a touchdown pass, BUT, he once again showed why he is the GOAT, leading the Pats to a fourth quarter, game winning drive!
