Dolphins’ “Miracle In Miami” Stuns Patriots, 34-33, On Final Play!
The Patriots struggles in Miami continued yesterday and ended in painful fashion. With the Pats leading 33-28 after a field goal with 16 second left in the game, the Dolphins pulled off the “Miracle in Miami”.
After the kickoff, with seven second remaining and the ball on the Miami 31, Ryan Tannehill hit Kenny Stills with a 14 yard pass. Still took off and then lateraled the ball to DeVante Parker, who then lateraled to Kenyan Drake, who ran the final 52 yards for the game winning touchdown, as Rob Gronkowski tripped in a last ditch effort to make the tackle. Gronk was in the game to prevent a “Hail Mary” in the endzone.
