Pearce hit .333 in the series with three home runs and eight rbi's. The much maligned David Price was outstanding on the mound, pitching seven plus innings and giving up just one run, which came on a David Freese home run on Price's first pitch of the game. Price ended up 3-1 in the playoffs.
