Bald Eagles Are Flying High And They Are HUGE!
I took my grandson, Harvey, to the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, yesterday. We had a great time seeing monkeys, leopards, reindeer, flamingos, black bears and snow leopards! What really blew my mind, though, were the bald eagles!
OMG! They are HUGE. The zoo has two of them and they live in a wooded habitat. These two can’t fly because they were both found after they were injured in the wild. The zoo posts facts about all the animals and you can call me ignorant, stupid, dumb, whatever……I never realized how big bald eagles can be.
There have been some bald eagles spotted recently flying over the Mystic Lakes on the Medford, Arlington and Winchester line. Grab your camera and binoculars and head to the lake!
The Mystic Lakes, which are bordered by Arlington, Medford, and Winchester, have become a popular hangout for bald eagles, and for bird-watchers who like to photograph them. https://t.co/kmx4J1ktaV pic.twitter.com/7s9MLqmi6z
