Carnival, Norwegian or Royal Caribbean calls are now getting a class-action lawsuit, and you might be able to cash in for $300 to $900 for being bugged.

According to the Miami Herald‘s report, the companies violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Specifically, Paul Tassain shares that the act “forbids telemarketers from making calls using automated dialing equipment and prerecorded messages, unless the person being called has given the caller prior express written consent to be contacted that way.”

The companies settled, and they have to pay filed claims between $7 mil and $12.5 mil.
