My “Goodwill Hunting” hobby is well documented. My father actually coined the term when he’d go to several Goodwill stores in one day. He’d say “I’m going Goodwill Hunting”!

I LOVE it! I also LOVE Craigslist. You can usually find anything you want, mostly used, but at a bargain price. You do find some new stuff, too. Well, like Goodwill, Craigslist features some stuff people just want to get rid of, but may still have value.

When you go to Craigslist, there is a free section, where people list what they want to get rid of for – FREE! I’ve recently found some GREAT deals on stuff I’ve been keeping my eyes on!

Antique bike – I am going to restore it and my wife wants to use it as a decoration with flowers in a basket on the handlebars. Please don’t steal it from my lawn! :):)

Home entertainment system – I’m too cheap to spend a lot of money for increased sound quality for my tv, but I will try it after I got this system for free. Someone was moving and didn’t want it anymore. I wanted it!

Exercise bike – The Schwinn Airdyne Exercise bike has long been a staple in the fitness world and used ones still cost $250-500. When I saw this free one on Craigslist, I drove to North Andover hoping it was still out on the curb. Luckily, it was!
