How to Enter for a Chance to Win

Join 105.7 WROR on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 between 6 and 9pm at The Sunset Tiki Bar and Grill at 79 Powers Road in Westford, MA to enter for a chance to win a trip for two to Aruba. Complete and submit an official entry form between 6 and 9pm to be eligible for the prize drawing.

One (1) potential winner will be selected by random drawing and notified by phone on or about Wednesday, June 22, 2015. Initially-selected winner must confirm acceptance of prize within five business days of initial notification, or risk disqualification and selection of a new winner. No purchase necessary.

Prize

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: A 5-night trip for two to Aruba, including all-inclusive hotel accommodations and roundtrip base coach airfare (excluding government taxes and fees).

Terms of Hotel Stay:

5 night stay for two adults in Deluxe Oceanfront accommodations at Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive. Rates include all meals and snacks, all beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as all hotel taxes and service charges. Guests have full exchange privileges to the Divi Aruba All Inclusive located just next door. Surcharges apply to optional amenities, including (without limitation) wi-fi and spa services. Retail value is $2940.00

Hotel booking is subject to availability. Travel must be completed between the dates of August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016. Prize travel dates will not be extended beyond this timeframe. Prizewinner will be asked to provide 3 sets of potential travel dates for confirmation. Blackout dates may apply and all dates are subject to hotel availability. Ground transportation, transfers, travel insurance and incidentals as well as any other expenses not specified within the prize letter are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any additional guests including children who may travel are subject to additional charges.

Roundtrip coach airfare provided by Aruba Tourism Authority. Value $1400- $2000 (depending on dates of travel). Scheduling is subject to availability; black-out dates apply. Travel must be completed by July 31, 2016. Taxes and fees, including (without limitation) baggage fees, are not included and must be paid by the winner at the time of booking. Taxes and fees are non-refundable.

Prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable fees, as well as federal, state and local taxes which may be associated with prize receipt and use. Prize is non-transferrable, non-assignable, nonrefundable and must be accepted as awarded. Prize elements must be redeemed in their entirety together (no portion may be redeemed separately). No date changes are allowed once stay dates are confirmed and booked. No substitutions may be made, except by the Prize Supplier, who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the Prize with another prize of greater or equal value. Prize winner and traveling companion must have valid US passports for international travel and must present the original prize letter and a valid credit card at hotel check-in. Minor traveling companion, if any, must be accompanied by custodial parent or legal guardian.

Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is: $4940.00

Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. 105.7 WROR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value. Winner may not request prize substitution. Prize is non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner. Winner must claim prize by completing all required paperwork in person at the 105.7 WROR offices within 30 days after the end of the contest. Prize not claimed within the 30-day period will be forfeited.

Eligibility

All entrants must be at least 21 years old and legal residents of the United States, living or working in the Boston metro survey area (as defined by Nielsen Audio). A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a 105.7 WROR contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Media Boston, its affiliates, any other promotion sponsors/prize providers, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with 105.7 WROR or any of the promotion sponsors, and other radio stations in the Boston metro survey area are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.” Limit one entry per person. Void where prohibited.

Release

By entering, all participants release and hold harmless 105.7 WROR, Greater Boston Radio, Inc. and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won. Winner will be required to sign a form releasing the above-listed parties from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize.

WROR undertakes no liability or responsibility, and makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the performance of the prize(s) awarded, for any failure to perform or negligent performance of any service provider, or for any other risk, incident or damage, direct or indirect, relating to or arising out of the contest, including (but not limited to) cancellations, postponements, delays or other scheduling changes; missed events or connections or inability of winner to attend; inclement or extreme weather; and accident, injury, death, damage or expense arising from or occurring during the use of the prize, or travel to/from or attendance at any event relating to the contest, by the winner and/or winner’s guest(s). WROR is not responsible for damage to a prize or loss of a prize after the prize has been claimed. Winner must inspect prize or prize certificate before leaving the station. WROR is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failure or malfunctions, lost or unavailable network or other telecommunications connections, or lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, disconnected, or delayed contest entries or communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest, or by any human error which may occur in the execution of this contest. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of WROR, station management reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and/or determine an alternate method of awarding the prize(s).

License

Entry into any contest constitutes full permission for WROR and its affiliates to broadcast and/or to photograph or publish the participant’s name, voice, recorded comments, biographical information, face and likeness, in any medium, without compensation.

Taxes

105.7 WROR will report the total value of the Grand Prize to the IRS and will furnish winner with a federal Form 1099. Winner must provide his/her social security number to 105.7 WROR for tax reporting purposes, and is solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize.

General

Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant or on a contestant’s behalf, will result in the contestant’s disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. 105.7 WROR reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in 105.7 WROR’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by 105.7 WROR or its affiliates. 105.7WROR reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Contest and these Official Rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement. By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of 105.7 WROR and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding. Copies of written contest rules and, where required by law, the list of winners are available during regular business hours at the 105.7 WROR studio, 55 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA 02125, for 60 days after the contest concludes.

As a condition to participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Boston, MA, having competent jurisdiction, which court shall apply the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to the conflicts of law principles thereof. The entrant and Sponsors hereby waive any and all right to trial by jury. If any provision of these Official Rules is declared or found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or void, then such provision will be null and void but each other provision hereof not so affected will be enforced to the full extent permitted by applicable law.
