Employers are having a pretty tough time hiring these days, with unemployment being so low and people taking their time to reenter the workforce, and those struggles being felt in New England.
WalletHub released a new study of States Where Employers Are Struggling the Most in Hiring, and three New England states are in the Top 10.
That means it's certainly a worker's market out there, giving job candidates leverage they may not have had even a few years ago.
For New England states, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine are in the Top 10 at second, fourth, and tenth, respectively for states where companies are having a tough time hiring. Rhode Island and Massachusetts rank in the top half of the list at 16th and 24th.
For potential job seekers, this means that New England is ripe with employment opportunities, and maybe even greater compensation.
Maybe relocating to Vermont isn't such a bad idea.
