But a classic New England fall weekend is heading to an apple orchard to pick some apples! Of course, when you go to an apple orchard you have to pick up some apple cider and donuts, but the apple picking is the real reason you went to the orchard!

Ingladsby Farm is located in Boxford, they're a family owned and operated since 1911. Monday and Tuesday they are closed, Wednesday thru Sunday they are open 9a-5p.
Connors Farm - Danvers, MA
Connors Farm is located in Danvers, not only do they have apple picking, but they have one of the coolest mazes in Massachusetts it's called "The Unexplained". They are open daily 8a-6p.

This Orchard is a must! The apple cider donuts are the best on the North Shore, they have farm animals hanging around, they have a winery for tastings, and plenty more.
Boston Hill Farm - North Andover, MA
Located in North Andover, Boston Hill Farm is a 12th generation family owned farm. Open 7 days a week 9a-6p, they have friendly goats, chickens, sheep, and rabbits for the kids to enjoy. They also have plenty of produce for sale at the farm stand.
Smolak Farm - North Andover, MA
Located in North Andover, Smolak Farm is a working farm that entertains in a unique way! The apple picking is open daily 10a-4p they also have craft beers, apple cider donuts, hayrides and live entertainment.
Brooksby Farm - Peabody, MA
Located in Peabody, Brooksby Farm has apple picking, pick your own fruits when in season, the bakery has some really good apple cider donuts and apple cider. They also have a campfire and smores time on various weekends in October.
