Kit Kat or Butterfinger, One Must Go! The decision is clear in Massachusetts

But why must one go?? It's Halloween Season, just eat a little of them all! Halloween is a good time of year to test your aging taste buds. I like to taste as many tiny chocoloate bars as possible every year... as research. I like to see which bars have moved up or down my imaginary chart since last Halloween. Plus research calories count half, right? My Telescope used Google data and teamed it with Share of Search to rank the data to determine each of the 50 states Most Searched For and Least Searched For Halloween candies. It's just another of the seemingly endless number of metrics that come out this time of year to determine the all-important question: What's the most popular Halloween candy? In Massachusetts our most searched for candy this Halloween season is Kit Kat. Our least searched for candy is Butterfinger. I do love me some Kit Kats, that's for sure, but Butterfinger has been moving up my personal enjoyment Halloween candy chart for the past couple years so the fact that it's at the bottom of the barrel of Halloween candy this year in Massachusetts definitely is a bit of a shocker to me. Let's have a look at out New England brothers and sisters as well: In New Hampshire the most searched for candy this year is Snickers and the least searched for is Mr. Goodbar. That seems a little easier to understand than a juggernaut like Butterfinger. In Vermont the most searched for candy this year is Snickers and the least searched for is Milky Way. In Connecticut the most searched for candy this year is Milky Way (which was just dead last in Vermont) and the least searched for is Baby Ruth (I think they're so underappreciated). In Maine the most searched for candy this year is Tootsie Roll and the least searched for is 100 Grand (dang, my favs are stinking). And finally in Rhode Island the most searched for candy this year is Hershey's Chocolate Bar and the least searched for is Baby Ruth (the disrespect continues LOL).
