Not that there is a battle between their fan bases, but if you ask Kiefer Sutherland to choose either Pink Floyd or Van Halen, he’s got an answer.
Speaking to Guitar Magazine, the 24 actor shares his opinions on a few legendary rock acts, revealing he’s really into the guitar work from Peter Frampton and Led Zeppelin.
“And the same with Pink Floyd – I can sing the solos from Pink Floyd as well as I can sing the lyric of any of their songs. I enjoyed that more than the Eddie Van Halen kind of stuff. I was not as attracted to that as I was David Gilmour or Jimmy Page,” Sutherland says.
When asked to choose his favorite guitarist, Sutherland readily admits it’s Prince, adding, “His craftsmanship with his guitar, melody – I just think he was an extraordinary player.”
