Looks like the official word on whether Peter Criss and Ace Frehley will join their former KISS bandmates on the “End of the Road” finale tour is “Never Say Never”.
Speaking in a new interview, Paul Stanley doesn’t rule the possibility out, instead answering, “Who knows?”
“I have to say that door is open, but it’s nothing that I contemplate daily,” admits the guitarist, adding, “It’s a celebration, not of any lineup of the band — it’s a celebration of everything we’ve accomplished with our fans. And that’s not limited to any particular people. So whatever happens, happens.”
According to Ace, the make-up wearing rockers “gave the impression” of having the classic lineup back in some capacity, but so far no one has reached out.
